Randy touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Before relocating after Hurricane Katrina to Madisonville, Randy was a life-long resident of St. Bernard Parish and a 1983 graduate of Chalmette High School. He was a pipefitter/welder with Exxon Mobile Refinery and a 1995 graduate of Local Union 60 Plumbers and Steamfitters. He was a former member of the Andrew Jackson Lodge 428. Randy was always a “friend in need,” a hardworking family man and when it came to mechanics, he had an unbelievable talent of “hands on” problem solving. He enjoyed motorcross racing, playing a guitar and restoring classics, but his passion was surfing. It is only fitting that he spent his last days watching boats and swimmers in the Gulf waters that he loved so much.
The Gros Family wishes to thank the many friends and family members who gave their overwhelming support and care to Randy and Debbie especially during these past few months. To learn more about Randy, visit http://www.thegrosfamily.org.
